A portion of the funds in the Earnings Vault may be allocated to strategic investments within the network or external opportunities to support the network's sustainability and operational efficiency. These allocations, similar to how traditional financial institutions manage reserves, are designed to maintain the long-term solvency and stability of the system. After the initial four-year period, vacancies may impact the DRI. Token holders, through governance, will have the authority to make decisions regarding rent rates and other income-related policies to optimize returns and address occupancy concerns.
During the first four years, all build-up and maintenance expenses will be covered by the Collection Creator. Starting May 2027, these responsibilities will transfer to the token owners. However, mall condominium fees, as well as utilities such as electricity, water, and internet services, will remain the responsibility of the Tenant/Collection Creator throughout.
Interest Paid on Balances: The network offers a fixed 10% APY on wallet balances for the first four years, with payments made monthly on the last day. This rate ends April 30, 2026. A revised APY will be announced in Q1 2026, effective from May 2026 through April 2027. Annual updates to the APY will follow each Q1, effective May through the following April. This process will continue indefinitely, with any modifications announced in advance by the network.
